We will guide you through all the necessary administrative procedures in order to obtain your Swiss work permit.
While most of regular incubators offer a 3-month program, we think a longer duration is needed in order to make a difference in a company’s life. This is why we offer a 12-month program.
To give your business the best chance of success, we will pair you up with one of our mentors. Mentors will help refine your strategy, provide the insights to ensure your products meet market needs, assist in developing a viable operating plan and make introductions to their network to give you a headstart.
We have created a working environment conducive to creative thinking, to getting things done and to having fun. Over 650 square metres of premium city centre space, largely open plan but with plenty of break-out areas for brainstorming, chill out zones, recreational areas – all with state-of-art IT infrastructure.
Polytech Ventures will syndicate investment on a case by case.
Being in Switzerland gives you access to the local market. Working with our coporate members gives you access to potential clients or distributors. And we will facilitate access to a network of national and international contacts.
Post program relocation services
At the end of the program, for companies willing to stay in Geneva, our partners offer offices near the factory, so you can stay close to your mentors, your clients and take part in the emergence of a new Fintech ecosystem.
Switzerland is a world leader in wealth management, asset management, insurance and commodities trading. We believe it makes sense to concentrate on the sectors, although we will consider applications from start-ups operating in any area of financial services.
We will consider applications from start-ups transforming any area of financial services, although we consider the following areas to be of particular interest: Cyber security, data privacy, Blockchain, assets and wealth management, insurance, Artificial Intelligence, mobile, peer-to-peer platforms.
“From beta to revenues” : To have an amazing product/service is not enough to succeed. You need to have an execution plan, which is why we are here to guide you along the way to make it a commercial success.
If you need help turning your idea into a business plan, we can help. We are partnering with a fast-track program in the Swiss Alps, hosted by Idiap, The International Create Challenge, and will sponsor two start-ups to attend. Please get in touch if you want to know more.
We want to attract a community of start-ups who have the ambition and drive to do what it takes. What does that mean? A hunger for success. Tons of proactivity. Determination (there will be setbacks along the way). Modesty. A capacity to listen. A willingness to learn. Intellectual curiosity. A desire to always do better.
